More Rush!
Just for the hell of it, I took video from the Rush 30th Anniversary tour, chopped it down to show only the Neil Peart drum solo and encoded it in both WMV format and H.264 (MPEG-4 video) format. I've uploaded them to the site and you can view them by clicking on the appropriate links below. If they don't play in your browser, you may have to right-click and download the clip to your computer then use the appropriate media player to view the file.
I think this will give the uninitiated an idea of just how impressive a drummer Neil Peart is...

R30 Drum solo WMV (Windows Media Player)
Interestingly, I encoded these both at "medium" quality with an encoder called VisualHub, which will encode from just about any format to just about any format and restricted the width of the video to 320 pixels. You will see, if you bother to look, that the H.264 version has much better video quality that the WMV version. Also, along with the higher quality, the file size is slightly smaller than the WMV version (26.9MB vs. 29.4MB).
